Product update: new search tool

What is new?

• Search is now available in the main menu, making it more accessible than its previous location in the personal menu.
• Expanded search capabilities now include plans and topics, including content within archived courses.
• Improved searchability with the inclusion of the element description field in searches, impacting various course elements such as plans, assignments, files, tests, tasks, surveys, links, registrations, and within Pages. This enhancement applies to new or modified course elements.
• Refined search results with filters for status and type, streamlining the process to locate desired content quickly.
• Modernised interface for an elevated user experience, ensuring a visually appealing and intuitive interaction.
• Relevance-Driven Search Results: Our search engine now automatically organizes results based on a calculated relevance score. In the event of a tie, where two items share the same relevance score, the deciding factor becomes the date of modification.
• Streamlined Data Display: Designed to enhance your user experience while strictly adhering to accessibility requirements.
