The institution pioneer of journalism in Denmark has selected the itslearning platform – a strategic move to provide their students and teachers with an attractive learning environment that supports flexible learning at a high professional, pedagogical, and technological levels for all courses of education.

Aarhus, Denmark – 6 June 2019 — The Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX), one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Denmark and Europe, has chosen the itslearning platform. This decision supports their strategy of sharing best practices with other renowned institutions including VIA University College.

DMJX evaluated the migration from an ‘open source’ LMS to an enterprise learning platform with top level support and services. After considering different vendors, DMJX concluded that itslearning is the platform that best suits and supports their specific requirements.

“We are very much looking forward to moving to a modern and proven LMS that meets our needs on a much greater scale. There is no doubt that itslearning will make many things easier and above all, support our students’ learning as best as possible.”

Jens Grund Pedersen, Pro-rector, Danish School of Media and Journalism.

“To us it is all about student satisfaction and to create a growing connectivity and relationship between students, lecturers and DMJX. Not only in basic education, but also for lifelong learning perspective. So, the choice of an LMS is very important for us.”

Cecilie Bechmann Anthony, Resource and Financial Manager, Danish School of Media and Journalism.
