Student Engagement Strategies

Speakers: Alan November, November Learning & Trond Skeie, itslearning

Breakfast begins at 9:00 and is free to all session attendees.

Our keynote presentation will challenge and inspire teachers and administrators to think beyond the classroom and prepare students for today’s global marketplace. We believe that it is not the technology itself that’s important to learning, but the way we use it. Placing easy-to-use digital tools in the hands of our students can result in creative solutions that help them learn. We know that many children prefer to learn through collaborting with their peers, yet this technique is often underestimated and underused in today’s classrooms. Encouraging students to contribute to their learning community is a powerful and effective way to improve achievement. We’ll show you how.
