Collaborative Learning & Peer Review

In this session, Nico Wirtz and two of his students demonstrate how learners can benefit from working collaboratively on their original texts. By way of peer reviewing and providing constructive feedback, students are encouraged to “steal” from each other and help each other revise and edit their original texts step by step. This approach not only takes the pressure off the first draft – it lets the students experience that good writing always includes revision and rewriting and that a good text often has more than just one author.
