Arne joined itslearning as our CEO in January, 2004. Passionate about education and helping students and teachers succeed, Arne has led itslearning to be Europe’s largest provider of educational learning platforms. Previously, Arne served as managing director of Tieto, one of the largest ICT companies in Europe. Arne received a Master of Management degree from the Norwegian Business School in 1987. He is a member of the Educational Consultants Network, K-12 Assistive Technology Professionals, and is on the Board of Directors of G.C. Rieber.
Jon-Kåre leads the engineering and operations teams at itslearning. His passion is to ensure our solutions exceed customers’ expectations for functionality, quality, performance, and uptime. Prior to itslearning, Jon-Kåre worked in telecom at Nera Networks, and financial services at Skandiabanken. He studied applied physics and optics at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, where he earned a PhD. Jon-Kåre spends his free time trout fishing in the mountains and coaching kids’ sports.
Charlotte studied at the Copenhagen Business School where she received a Bachelor’s in International Business, and a Master of Science in Business Administration. Before coming to itslearning, she was the CEO/Nordic Country Manager at Experian for 3 years and worked 13 years in various leadership positions for Dun & Braadstreet. She is passionate about helping educational leaders reach their strategic goals and maximising outcomes for students.
As a marketing executive with 20 years of experience, Tom is responsible for our global branding, digital, content, and marketing operations. Previously, Tom held leadership roles at PTC in sales, R&D, and marketing. Most recently, he was VP of Enterprise Marketing for PTC’s largest business unit. Prior to PTC, Tom was a manufacturing engineer at Teradyne in Boston, MA. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from RPI, an MBA from Babson, and a PhD in Spinal Tap quotes.
Thomas has had various management positions in the Telecom Industry over the last 15 years and most recently was Business Unit Director in the executive group of NextGenTel. He holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from NHH in Bergen. Thomas is motivated to help new and existing customers to achieve their educational and strategic goals.
Josh joins itslearning from Invaluable.com, the world’s leading online marketplace for fine art, antiques and collectibles. In his 5+ years at Invaluable, Josh led the Product, Design & UX teams, with responsibilities across a diverse set of web properties and software solutions. Prior to Invaluable, Josh held various leadership roles over 12+ years at BuyerZone.com, a startup from the late 90s that survived the aughts’ dot-com boom and bust to become a healthy and profitable Internet company. BuyerZone was acquired in 2007 by Reed Business Information, a division of RELX Group.
