itslearning Announces UBIT as New Partner in Turkey

UBIT, the leading provider of EdTech solutions in Turkey has entered an agreement to provide Universities and K-12 schools across Turkey with the cloud-based LMS solution from itslearning.

itslearning is pleased to announce a new partner agreement with UBIT Turkey. The agreement will enable UBIT to distribute the itslearning LMS SaaS solution to schools and universities, as well as providing training, consultancy and 1st line support services.

The ongoing Covid-19 virus situation and the school and university closures in Turkey has also pressed home the importance of having an online teaching and learning strategy, something that is likely to fuel the need for Turkish school districts and universities to adopt new cloud-based teaching methods in the coming months.

In a separate announcement on the 19th of March 2020, UBIT’s strategic client Bahcesehir University (BAU) in Istanbul announced the decision that the spring semester will be based on distance education (online) due to the Corona virus outbreak. BAU is one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Turkey and already have over 30,000 users on the itslearning platform.

Through their strategic agreement with BAU, UBIT is therefore well placed to advise other schools and universities on how to adopt the cloud solution, providing a real-life example on how to transform the teaching and learning methods.
