Release 79: uploading & attaching images to bulletins

Images now available in bulletins

Teachers can now upload and attach images to bulletins. To upload an image, click the ‘Image’ link below the text field. Images that are larger than the width of the bulletin will be scaled down to fit the bulletin. Click the image to open a larger version of the image in a separate window.

The supported image formats are jpg, gif, png and bmp.

Discontinuation notice: Progress report

You may have noticed that courses contain two very similar reports, Progress report and Progress Report 2.0.  Since Progress report 2.0 provides more detailed information, we will be discontinuing the older Progress report in a March release.  You will still have access to Progress report 2.0, which will be renamed to Progress report.

New learning objective alignment report for courses

Did you notice that we introduced a new course report to teachers a few weeks ago? The report provides an overview of the learning objectives that have been aligned in your course, but have not yet been used. You can filter on aligned and not aligned learning objectives.

Grades data available in advanced reporting

The data available to create reports in Advanced reporting now includes grades data. You can see the grade, as well as the number of attempts and views on assessments for all students. Currently, simple tabular views of this data are available, but it is possible to prepare additional visualizations and custom reports.  Please contact your local services team for more information.
