itslearning (“we”) is committed to keeping your data safe. Any time we collect or process your data, we’ll do so legally. That means that we will only process data with your explicit permission and/or for necessary marketing and sales communication. This page will explain, in some detail:

We are a global company, so when you provide us personal data, that data may be used, processed, or stored anywhere in the world, including in countries that have data protection laws that are different to the country in which you reside. However, itslearning has policies and procedures in place that are constructed to safeguard and ensure an equal level of protection is applied across the entire organization and in accordance with this Policy.
WHO COLLECTS THE DATA

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
We will never collect data about you without clearly stating what information we are requesting and what we will use it for. When you use the itslearning ideas portal, we are collecting the following personal information:
- Personal details: Firstname, Lastname, email address, profile picture, Idea portal user ID, Password (encrypted)
- Community contributions: Ideas, comments and votes submitted by the user
HOW WE COLLECT DATA
Through your interaction with us or use of this website, we may collect the following personal information that identifies you as an individual:
- Information you provide through form submissions on ideas portal website.
- Information discussion forums or other or inquiries that you voluntarily take part in.
WHY WE COLLECT DATA
We only collect your data in order to fulfill the purpose of the ideas portal: an online community for solicit crowed sourced ideas and input for improvements to the itslearning product, so that we can ensure the best possible product for our customers, end users and prospects. This includes people posting ideas, comment on other users´ ideas, and giving votes to ideas. Nurturing the relationships in the ideas portal community, with you and your organization requires trust and transparency. To achieve this, we need your persona data like name and e-mail address.
Your personal data is needed for practical purposes, like creating your user account, but more importantly it’s needed to provide context and credibility to your contributions to the community – and as such your right of freedom of expression and information. We also use your personal data to personalize and improve your experience, e.g. by using profile picture. Another important aspect is to ensure that itslearning can reach you in a timely manner with information relevant to you and your ideas and contributions to the ideas portal community.
HOW WE USE THE DATA
We use your personal data to: create and maintain your ideas portal account, grant you access to the ideas portal community and its services, communicate with you and fulfill the purpose of the ideas portal.
We only collect or process your data when we have a legitimate interest.
Legitimate interests are uses that are necessary to provide a product or service, or those that could be reasonably expected by the person whose information is being collected.
If no activity, interest, intent or need can be identified within a 5-year period, we delete your data. We may further retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

|Data is collected solely by input made by the community members, either when registering or submitting ideas, comments and votes to the idea portal. Data is entered in two ways:
Personal details are submitted when registering for the idea portal, and can be viewed/changed by the user through the idea portal directly
Community contributions are done by interacting with the idea portal, e.g. submitting a new idea, commenting on an existing idea or adding votes to an existing idea.
|We only collect your data in order to fulfill the purpose of the ideas portal, i.e. to solicit input from users on improvements to the itslearning product, so that we can ensure the best possible product for our customers, end users and prospects. This includes people posting ideas, comment on other users´ ideas, and giving votes to ideas. Nurturing the relationships with you and your organization. Ensuring that itslearning can reach you in a timely manner with information relevant to you and your ideas and contributions to the ideas portal community.

|The legitimate interest of processing your personal data in the ideas portal is quite straight forward, self-evident, transparent and has not changed since the ideas portal was launched in 2015 (please see “why we collect data”).|
Data processors are third parties with whom we have contracted to provide elements of our communication to users, customers, partners and prospects. They are not allowed to process your personal information unless we instruct them to do so. They will not share your personal information with any other organization. They will secure and retain your data for the period we specify.

When it comes to your personal data, you have rights:
- You have the right to know whether we have your information.
- You have the right to access any information we have about you.
- You have the right to correct or update your information.
- You have the right to tell us not to process your data
- You have the right to talk about your personal data with our Data Protection Officer.
- You have the right to lodge a complaint if you think we’ve mishandled your data.
- You have the right to make us delete any information you’ve consented to share.
