Eduko embarked on a transformative journey through a merger, bringing together two institutions—one using itslearning and the other employing an open-source solution. After careful consideration, they collectively determined that itslearning was the best fit for their institution, although not without challenges. Implementing new methodologies and technologies often faces resistance, particularly after a merger. Tuija Arola, Development Director at Eduko, reflects on their experience, stating,
Arola also emphasizes the importance of dedicated time and internal support; "Our itslearning coordinator plays a vital role internally, supporting the implementation process and ensuring that teachers have the help and time they need to adapt to the new platform."
Aleksi Tarvainen, Eduko's key account manager in itslearning, adds,
"Addressing resistance requires effective communication and understanding, particularly in a merger scenario. We have worked closely with Eduko to address concerns, provide training, and highlight the benefits of the changes. It has been a collective effort."

Instructors wear video glasses, providing students with a firsthand perspective of construction sites, an experience that is often limited due to health and safety regulations.
