Learning Objectives Library
itslearning has included all qualification dossiers and optional subjects for MBO in its central 'learning objectives library'. This is updated annually in collaboration with the Co-operation Organization for Vocational Education and Training (SBB). This keeps the learning objectives library always up-to-date and relevant for teachers.
Learning objectives search in learning objectives library
The advantage for teachers is that they can import the desired qualification files (kd's) into their subject with just a few mouse clicks. Once a teacher has done this, he/she can easily link the core tasks belonging to the RDs to learning activities in the relevant course. For students this means that it is clear which core task they are working on in the relevant learning activity. When a core task is linked to a learning activity, the teacher can assess it using a rubric, so the student knows exactly which criteria he/she needs to meet to achieve the learning objective.
Reports
itslearning also provides reports in which teachers and students can see how the student is progressing on a learning objective/core task. This allows the teacher to see at a glance which of his/her students are still struggling with a particular core task and which students are on track. Based on this information, the teacher can offer customized support. Also for the student, this report means insight into where he/she can best invest his/her time.
