Test Tool: Updated version of Test Mode Browser
We have updated the Test Mode Browser (TMB) used in Windows and Mac. This is a forced update meaning we have set a new minimum version and every user needs to update the TMB before starting a test with TMB enabled. There is also a new download file for the Windows LAB version. Administrators can reach out to support if they have not already contacted them about this. Chromebooks and iPads are not affected.
The update will be done for both test tools (old and new), but may not be released at the exact same time. Note that you do not have to download TMB separately for the two Test Tools, the same Test Mode Browser is used for both and the link points to the same download.
We always recommend doing a trial-run when using the TMB for tests, to ensure all student devices are updated and work as expected.
Customers using Windows Lab version have already been contacted by support to receive the new install file.
