Teacher access to student plans across courses

Teachers who are assigned to a student in at least one course can now open that student's plan cards in the Calendar's Plan tab across all courses. Plans from courses they don't teach open in read-only mode.

Updating the Announcement Scheduling Workflow

We've introduced an important update to the Schedule Announcements feature in Course Overview. When setting a date for an announcement, the new design makes the process more accessible and user‑friendly for everyone.

Open organisation groups

It is now possible to open an organisation group from the Groups tab of the course Participants page. This way you can quickly see who is a member of this organisation group. Examples of an organisation group can be a class or lesson group that is predefined in the hierarchy structure of your itslearning site.

Improved Accessibility in Assignment Input Fields

To improve clarity and accessibility, the Assignment Description area will now be expanded by default when the page loads. This ensures that the question is immediately visible and contextually connected to the answer field. Students can still choose to hide the description if needed, maintaining flexibility in the interface.

Improvements:

• Better support for screen readers and keyboard navigation
• Clearer context for students when responding to assignments
• A more inclusive and user-friendly experience
