Q&A

All the questions asked during the webinar answered:

Does “Advanced Reporting” take into account the use of new artificial intelligence tools? So can the use of new tools be monitored systematically?  Currently, our itslearning Data Warehouse does not store information about the use of AI tools. The current option is to parse tags from the data stored in the LearningItem and CourseElement tables, which of course requires careful naming conventions.
Can the results of H5P tasks be entered into the gradebook? Yes, if the downloaded H5P package is of the right type/properly implemented from the perspective of reporting results.
Materials are produced in Moodle in university projects. Importing them into itslearning from the Aoe.fi website is not completely successful. Is the H5P player paid, does it require H5P already in itslearning?  The H5P player function is a good addition to improve the quality of e.g. the utilization of entities created in projects in itslearning, because in many cases the packages uploaded to the aoe.fi service contain many .h5p files, which until now have only been usable by users within the scope of the LTI-connected service. There are no additional costs for the H5P player, but it is included in our basic package.
Can H5P content assessments also be added to the assessment records? Do I have to create new content and edit it using another application outside of itslearning?  There is a full-fledged LTI integration option in itslearning for using H5P content (requires an H5P license). Now our selection is being supplemented with the H5P player, which makes it possible to view and execute H5P files directly in the course. Next year, we plan to introduce even more options for utilizing H5P content, such as an option where content management and editing are possible directly from itslearning. Owning an H5P license allows editing, which currently still happens outside of itslearning. The H5P player function only supports displaying/executing content.
Could the system administrator be given the right to empty all course trash bins that are no longer quarantined?  This is not currently possible, but the request has been forwarded.
Could courses be organised on the page, e.g. in their own folders?  There are currently no plans for folders. A few other ideas about the structure that can be produced for the view have been presented. The best and most efficient way at the moment is to create a systematic and predictable naming method for the course, which is followed throughout the organisation. This way, the search function in the course card view makes it quick to find the right course even from a large number of courses.
